BioThane® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, smell-proof and easy to clean.

Lost + Hound will honor any and all products that are unsatisfactory or not up to our standards of durability. Follow our care guide to ensure your product stays perfect for as long as possible. Please remember that while BioThane® is extremely durable, it is not LifeProof. It will be ruined with excessive chewing, and will exhibit general wear and tear over time.

Bought the wrong size by mistake? We want your pup to be comfortable and happy in their new gear! Send us a message we will be happy to sort it out for you!

Under normal use, BioThane® will long outlast leather and nylon. Each product is made with the utmost care. Every rivet is thread-locked, and all our hardware is graded to hold horses!

We use genuine Beta BioThane® to make our products. This material is waterproof, smellproof proof, and easy to clean. To clean your gear please use a damp washcloth and hand wash with mild soap. Be sure to dry your products and inspect them regularly. Please refrain from exposing BioThane® to harsh chemicals (ie. flea collars) or oils.

General turnaround is 2-3 Business days.

While we try to keep all items in all colours in stock we do sometimes need to order in more material in your chosen colour so please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be shipped.
All items ship Canada wide at a $10 flat rate

For collars, we generally recommend that the 1 inch width will work best for dogs who are 14+ inches around the neck. For pups who measure 13 inches or less, we recommend going with the 3/4 width.
